Hi, I’m Gab. Graphic designer by trade, Filipina by birth, part-Nepali by osmosis, Slytherin, wannabe-painter, semi-retired cosplayer, himono-onna extraordinaire, adult third-culture kid, and quite possibly the loudest introvert you will ever meet.
I majored in Visual Communication at the University of the Philippines – Diliman College of Fine Arts and have been working from home since my escape from the confines of the corporate world. Welcome to my little web haunt, where I show off my work, talk about my life and the things that I love and/or obsess over.
I also have one of them proper artist bio things:
Gabrielle Clemente Lopez graduated from the University of the Philippines – Diliman with a BFA in Visual Communication and currently works from home as a graphic designer.
A defining trait in her work, whether it’s pen on paper or acrylic on wood panels, are her bold lines. Her subjects are often feminine and alluring, in waves and curls; greatly influenced by her love for myth and legend, tattoos, Art Nouveau and comic books.
She participated in her first group show in 2012 and has exhibited in venues such as Secret Fresh, the UP Diliman Bulwagan ng Dangal Museum, and the SM Megamall Art Center.
When she’s not in the ocean wiping out, she can be found holed up in her home in Makati.
