Gabrielle Clemente Lopez graduated from the University of the Philippines – Diliman with a BFA in Visual Communication and currently works from home as a graphic designer. A defining trait in her work, whether it’s on paper or wood panels, are her bold lines. Her subjects are often feminine and alluring, in waves and curls; greatly influenced by her love for myth and legend, tattoos, Art Nouveau, and comic books. She participated in her first group show in 2012 and has exhibited in venues such as Secret Fresh, the UP Diliman Bulwagan ng Dangal Museum, and the SM Megamall Art Center. When she’s not trying to catch some waves, she can be found holed up in her home in Makati.
